TV Report on Clean Gasoline

TV Report in MDR Sachsenspiegel

“Climate and CO2-friendly gasoline - that sounds too good to be true. Scientists at Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH (CAC) and TU Bergakademie Freiberg have achieved precisely that. The “green gasoline” has numerous advantages, researchers say.” Watch the TV report on MDR Sachsenspiegel from 17/12/2019.
Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz (CAC) has developed a process for the creation of green, i.e. synthetic gasoline using only carbon dioxide, electricity and water - with no fossil fuels whatsoever. In the demonstration plant for the most important process stage, the transformation of methanol into gasoline, at TU Bergakademie Freiberg twelve tons of the green gasoline have already been produced and provided to car manufacturers for testing.
