C3 Mobility Final Workshop

We would like to invite you to the final event of the Closed Carbon Cycle (C3) Mobility research project. On Nov 23 - 24, 2021 all participants will draw a conclusion on their way to clean fuels. I would particularly like to recommend two dates: Wednesday, Nov 24, 09:30 AM: "MtG as EN 228 Compatible Green Drop-in Fuel" (Dr. Mario Kuschel, Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz and Prof. Martin Gräbner, TU Bergakademie Freiberg and 1:30 PM: "MtG – Efficiently Reducing fossil CO2 Emissions of the Passenger Car Fleet": Prof. Thomas Garbe, Volkswagen.

There are already more than 270 registrations!

PROJECT: C3-Mobility pursues the goal of showing promising ways towards a CO2-neutral mobility of the future. To this end, the long-term motor use of methanol-based fuels, both as a pure fuel and as a blend, is being considered.

In addition to promising and forward-looking technical results, the event will also discuss many general aspects, such as economic impacts and political hurdles in the market introduction of alternative fuels. These non-technical results will be an important outcome - especially in the context of future discussions and legislative negotiations on European CO2 regulations. The discussions will be enriched by external speakers from politics and industry associations.
